What are registration fees and why do we need them?
Registration fees are monies collected outside of hotel, transportation, meals and activity fees, that help to defray costs associated with planning these national events. An example of these fees could include deposits required for group reservations. These fees help to organize and plan these events and are monitored to be used for the betterment of the group experience.
NO ONE EVER PROFITS FROM A POC SPONSORED EVENT!!

What is covered in the registration fees?
Currently the $75.00 registration fees will cover
- Continental Breakfast sponsored in the hospitality suite
- Hospitality Suite
- From Civil Rights to Civil War Tour
- Bowling (shoes not included)
- Goody Bags
- Pajama Jam
- 3 course meal at Dailey's Restaurant (alcoholic beverages are extra).
- Raffle Tickets

Are the registration fees refundable?
Yes..... but
a $7 processing fee
will be assessed for cancellations for registration fee, and other event fees on
or before
May 31st. Written notice of cancellation may be emailed to
POCAtlanta@aol.com or mailed to:
Notice of cancellation via IM messages or phone calls are
not sufficient.
***NO refunds will be given after May 31st.***

Does everyone have to pay registration fees?
Yes. If you are my third cousin removed I will expect you to come with your money in hand. It's only fair.

I don't want to participate in one of the events covered by the registration fees, can my fee be prorated?
No. As many of you know who have hosted events most group reservations require deposits. Rates are achieved by promising a certain number of people and you are one of those people. Your contribution will be enjoyed by everyone just as you will enjoy your events covered by registration fees.

What is the due date for the registration fees?
Registration fees will be accepted ASAP. We appreciate those who take the time to ensure that their payments are received early.
